Today- we take time to increase our health and wellness with the Japanese Flower Art of Ikebana. There are so many different schools of Ikebana Flower Arranging- I studied the school of Ikenoba in Japan in the late 70s… and today’s project- has the 3 basic elements of Ikebana- and a ‘nod’ to Moribana- by adding a branch of Black Pussy Willow.
The Flowers for today’s arrangement are the Fugi (or Spider) Chrysanthemum- Chispa from DeliFlora. They are growers of some of the most amazing Chrysanthemums- and Chispa does not disappoint- with a rich bronze tone- that is accented with a golden yellow… giving this bloom a vibrant noticeable color.
Sit back and relax- as we take a few moments to create a Japanese Flower Arrangement in the Ikebana style. It’s a great way to use 3 flowers- and creating a wonderful decoration for your home or to share with a friend.
