Today- I’m on location in Honolulu Hawaii- at the University of Hawaii- Magoon Research Station- home to some of the most gorgeous Hawaiian Flowers- grown by Tessie Amoré PhD and her crew. You’ll be meeting Dr. Tessie Amoré- in our Hawaii Episodes of “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom” over the next couple of Seasons on Public Television! Dr. Tessie provided me with an amazing location- and allowed me to feature Anthurium that were hybridized at the Magoon- and grown by our Amazing Friends at Green Point Nursery. I’m using a White Anthurium Hakuloa and an Obaké Anthurium – Green and white- named Mauna Loa… along with an incredible White Dendrobium Orchid- and beautiful Foliage. I’m so honored to be able to arrange right here at the Magoon Research Station- and also to visit this amazing learning facility!
