Our Color Lessons for today- will help us cause Excitement- I’ll be creating a Complimentary Arrangement with my Dramm Tools: The Bypass Cutter and Compact Pruner (in Coordinating colors no less!) Complimentary Colors are colors that are opposite another on the color wheel. Complimentary Colors cause excitement- and today- I’ve chosen Blue and Orange- for this arrangement!
We’ll be creating this arrangement in a Rose Gold Vase from Accent Décor- and it’s important to set the stage for any vase arrangement with Fabulous Foliage from FernTrust- I’m using one of their Green Bouquets- which makes it so easy- you chop and drop this professional created bouquet into the vase- and you’re ready to start arranging flowers!
We’ll start with blue flowers- (the rarest color in the flower world) Using Delphinium and Iris from Sun Valley Flower Farms- and Veronika from Ocean Breeze Premium Flowers! René and Ivor from Ocean Breeze- also grew the Orange Gerbera Daisies- and Orange Micro Mini Gerberas we’ll use to represent the Orange Palette. I also have beautiful Orange Lilies from Holland America Flowers- and Orange Ranunculus. The Orange Carnations from Ayura Pride Eclipse Flowers- are beautiful- and the Final Flower is a combination of Both Orange and Blue Colors- Elegant Bird of Paradise from Kennicott Brothers! I’ll be using Lovely Transparent Copper Mesh Wired Ribbon from Reliant Ribbon… I hope you enjoy this Complimentary Color Lesson!
