Today on Behind the Bloom – I have a Treat- I had a once in a lifetime experience – to “Talk Story” with Kimo Keaulana- Kimo brought his priceless Lei collection to the Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute- (translation: Where Heaven meets the Earth) – to share with us. Kimo is truly, a Hawaiian Treasure and graciously invited us to the honored place to share the story of lei- and inform us about the Culture of Lei.
