It’s almost May Day- May 1st marks this fun Holiday- ever since I was a little boy- I’ve observed May Day…
Tradition dictates- that you create May Baskets- many kids made them with Candy- but I always made them with Flowers or Plants from the Garden… The concept- was to make a May Basket for a friend (or even a potential boyfriend or girlfriend) … then you would sneak up and deliver the May Basket to their porch- ring the bell or knock- and RUN! The idea was to get away- if you were caught- dropping off the May Basket- the recipient could give you a kiss… I share my history about May Basket day in this video!
We’ll make this Wonderful Flower Filled May Basket- using the Midnight Foam® from Oasis- and use the “Bright Side” J’s Bouquet from Sunshine Bouquet- these bouquets are available at Albertsons Companies stores Nationwide! I also use some foliage from the Garden… it’s a simple trick for filling a basket with beautiful blooms. Enjoy!
